10 Worst Matches In WWE Money In The Bank History

1. Ryback Vs. Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks (2012)

Three years before he was facing The Big Show, Ryback was WWE's next big pet project. Instantly drawing comparisons to Bill Goldberg, this new persona borrowed more than a little from the former WCW headliner. Chants of 'Goldberg' followed Ryback wherever he went, and things were no different at Money In The Bank 2012.

Looking to emulate the formula WCW had worked with Goldberg, Ryback was booked to destroy a variety of opponents in quick, simple squash matches. Those may be fine for television, but on pay-per-view fans expect a little more bang for their buck. They didn't get that with Ryback vs. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks.

Reks would soon be gone from the company, but not before being steamrolled by WWE's new sensation. The match did last just over 4 minutes, but it was a glorified squash. Ryback soaked up the offence of Reks and Hawkins, before splatting them and posing to the crowd.

The fact this came right after an excellent match between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan was the icing on the cake, the squash felt redundant next to that kind of classic.
