10 Worst Matches Of The Undertaker's WWE Career
5. W/ Kane Vs. Triple H & Shawn Michaels - Crown Jewel 2018
Contrary to popular belief, the first 10 minutes of this match are actually really good and well-booked. For 10 glorious minutes, it looked like these legends of eras gone-by had found a way to turn back the clock to produce something potentially legendary... and then Triple H got himself injured and everything fell apart (yes, everything).
The fact that Trips got injured speaks volumes because these four men should never have been booked in the same match on their own. At this stage, none of them were competing full-time and it really began to show as the war waged on.
The double Irish-whip mishap between 'Taker and Trips resulted in both of them running into the barricade hand-in-hand like starcrossed lovers, the unexpected unmasking from Kane was just sad and the unexpected remasking was quite senseless. And then you have good old HBK risking his life after eight years of retirement with a stunning moonsault... only to land flat on his face.
There was occasional flashes of what could have been, but this dream match came a decade too late... and the risk was not worth the reward (or lack thereof).
