As well as trying to become a movie star, Hogan credited as Terry ''Hulk'' Hogan had a short lived run as Randolph J. "Hurricane" Spencer in Thunder In Paradise. From the creators of Baywatch, the show's premise was simple. On a weekly basis, Randolph J. "Hurricane" Spencer and his friend Martin "Bru" Brubaker, would travel the world to fight crime in their hi-tech speedboat, Thunder. Views were treated to explosions, sexy speedboat action, slow motion gun fire and running bouncy boobs. What more could you want? Family drama you say? It had that too because when Hurricane and Bru were not out catching deadly criminals with their speedboat, they had the challenge of looking after Spencer's young daughter who happened to live with them. Unfortunately for Hogan and the Thunder In Paradise producers, TV viewers did want more. The show was a mediocre hit that got canceled after just one season. Even Patrick Macnee as Edward Whitaker couldn't save the shows fortunes.
