10 Worst Musical WWE Gimmicks

4. 3MB

3MB could have been so much more than they were. With certified talent like Drew McIntyre, charismatic Heath Slater and capable Jinder Mahal the three showed early promise as a goofy three man boy band. In the end though, they were just a jobber tag team whose greatest moments involved selling to a midget wrestler dressed as a bull. Unlike 3 Count, the three man boy band that got over in WCW's dying days, 3MB seemed like a punishment from the beginning, especially considering McIntyre was once touted as "the chosen one". Whether or not WWE was actually going to utilize the group as anything more than a one note jobber team is irrelevant because after McIntyre got hurt right as the team formed it helped to cool off any real momentum they might have had. The group was quickly relegated to enhancement status for most of their run. Strangely, during what seemed to be 3MB's prime chance to shine with extended TV time and a prominent feud with Los Matadores, two out of the three members were unexpectedly released, with Heath Slater being the last man standing. The gross mishandling of talent combined with relegating the team to an afterthought throughout their run makes 3MB one of the worst musical gimmicks of all time.
