WWE fans might have groaned when The Great Khali, Hornswoggle, and Natalya became a little dancing group but that was simply a pale imitation of one of the worst musical gimmicks of all time: The Oddities. While the idea to form a stable of "circus freaks" might seem almost natural given pro wrestling's carnival roots The Oddities definitely suffered from a variety of problems, namely that they consisted of two slow moving giants in The Giant Silva and Kurrgan and a very obvious John "Earthquake" Tenta playing a disfigured, masked, mentally challenged man-child. Not to mention they were led to the ring and had their theme music sung by the Insane Clown Posse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juMKEgp2u7o While originally the group were heels they quickly became the fun-loving, dancing, and comedy-oriented team that they were probably destined to be. Despite a few PPV matches and some a couple feuds the group never really were anything more than a passing sideshow that was soon packed up and moved out of town.
