10 Worst Survivor Series Elimination Matches EVER - According To Dave Meltzer

4. True Divas Vs Total Divas (2013, DUD)

Total Divas exists today on an island from the Women's Division on both brands. Though performers and their partners from both shows take part in the scripted reality vehicle for E!, there exists virtually no correlation between the tales on that show and the action between the ropes on Monday and Tuesday night. Understanding the importance of differentiating the narrative of each, WWE occasionally let their storylines filter into Total Divas drama, but not the other way around.

Still in an experimental phase with the show (and women's wrestling in general), the company attempted to awkwardly marry both sides in a Survivor Series battle destined for failure.

A lack of talent, training and tenure on both sides hugely hampered the battle, whilst AJ Lee's game leadership of the 'True Divas' squad was logical but uncomfortably forced. She'd carved out a niche on the show as a convincing champion, grappling still for credibility on a roster still without much of an eye for equality. But she did it alone - the 'norm' for most women on the main roster was still to hope for a spot on the show rather than a place on WrestleMania.

With no single talent capable of carrying the match or the storyline, the 14-women battle failed to get a coherent message across. Worse still, Total Divas actually won. The division had never looked more lost at sea.
