6. Why Haven't They Wrestled The New Day?
For two weeks leading into the Elimination Chamber, WWE missed out on a terrific opportunity to elevate The New Day, and instead they had Reigns and Ambrose wrestle Kane and Seth Rollins. As opposed to Corporate Kane, The New Day are a fresh heel act who are drawing major heat and could've benefited from being in the ring with Ambrose and Reigns. Given that the extent of The New Day's association with The Authority (all three members in the Elimination Chamber match) was later revealed via on-screen promo by an announcer, the team wrestling 3-on-2 handicap tags would've helped considerably. WWE not seeing the benefit in using fresh acts to make their admittedly sometimes stale in places TV product appear fresh is unfortunate. Babyfaces overcoming "insurmountable" odds together is certainly a simple way to make their on-screen friendship appear more believable.
