10 Worst Things Vince McMahon Has Ever Done To Triple H

2. Burying Many An NXT Call-Up

As already noted, Papa H put much of his heart and soul into establishing his NXT as the place-to-be for independent sensations who deserved a global platform and the main roster stars of tomorrow.

And for the most part, he largely succeeded in the former, with just about every top indy talent or departing sensation from a rival promotion available at the time making an impact on the black and gold brand at various points throughout the second half of the 2010's.

Yet, when it came to the second part of that statement, it often didn't matter how "ready" The Game had gotten his chosen darlings in the lead-up to that supposedly life-changing call-up, an out of touch Vinnie Mac seemed almost hellbent on making an absolute mockery of his own developmental system.

Away from the odd exception in the likes of The Horsewomen, Kevin Owens, and a few other early call-ups, the vast majority of those kissing goodbye to all things NXT were inevitably shuffled into the mid-card before regularly getting utterly humiliated as part of a main roster landscape that was soul-crushingly broken.

And a quick glance at the way the likes of GUNTHER and Solo Sikoa are currently being brilliantly handled on SmackDown and Raw sadly tells a story of what could've been for those who were ultimately damaged beyond repair by a billionaire who was anything but NXT.
