9. The Rainbow Express
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3yWE63ef4c Another gem from TNA's earliest shows, The Rainbow Express were an incredibly stereotypical tag team, playing an overly-effeminate pair of gay lovers under the management of Joel Gertner. Gertner actually cut a very progressive promo prior to their debut, imploring the crowd to judge the Express not on their sexuality, but their wrestling ability. The only issue was that, yet again, the team were booked as heels. The most offensive aspect of their short stint in the company was the reaction of TNA's babyfaces, especially colour commentator Don West, who openly voiced his disgust whenever they took to the ring. A rival tag team - the hillbilly Dupp brothers - actually refused to compete in a match with the Express on the grounds that they didn't wrestle homosexuals.
