10 Worst TNA X Division Champions Ever

8. Suicide

Professional wrestlers based on video game characters are very rarely (read: never) a good idea.

That is how the character known as Suicide got his start however, as a mysterious character in the much-maligned TNA Impact video game. He immediately became the centre of attention in the X Division, as a number of supremely talented performers had their talent wasted in their preoccupation with de-masking Suicide.

The list of performers who played Suicide is impressive enough. Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, TJ Perkins and Austin Aries all wrestled under the mask, and the character won two X Division Championships.

That didn't stop it being a colossal waste of time, however, not to mention one with an absolutely abhorrent name. The name was changed in 2013, presumably when TNA realised having a character called 'Suicide' was a terrible decision.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
