10 Worst TNA X Division Champions Ever

4. Sonny Siaki

Sonny Siaki was one of those guys in the early days of TNA that you thought looked like a star, but you weren't entirely sure of why outside of 'big good looking dude'. He was a WWE guy in TNA in the middle of the 2000s, someone who everyone and their dog assumed would end up with a WWE developmental deal eventually.

He got that deal, spent two years in developmental and was then released. He was also the seventh X Division Champion and the first to hold the title for more than 50 days. His run as champion was the very definition of forgettable, and after 63 days he dropped the title to Kid Kash.

Looking back, Sonny Siaki was as generic as professional wrestlers got. His career came to an end when he donated one of his kidneys to his dying brother, however, which is an incredibly noble thing to do. Kudos to Siaki.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
