10 Worst WCW PPV Endings Ever

8. Montreal Revisited - Starrcade 1999

Starrcade main events should be easy home runs, but instead this one turned into a ground out to first. Bret Hart vs. Goldberg was a dream match of sorts, two guys who were both huge stars but with differing styles facing off for the WCW World Championship at the annual year-end show. Just put them in there and let them go at it. Apparently that was too much to ask because the geniuses who booked the match thought we needed to see yet another rehashing of the Montreal Screwjob (an extremely dead horse that€™s still being beaten to this day) by having Roddy Piper ring the bell while Goldberg was in the Sharpshooter without him actually submitting. To make matters worse Hart pulled a Shawn Michaels impersonation and appeared to be bewildered by the decision when he was awarded the match. To top it off, this was also the match where The Hitman sustained a severe concussion from a Goldberg kick that eventually ended his career, so this was a real trainwreck all the way around.
