7. WrestleMania 11 - A Midcarder And NFL Footballer Close The Show
This main event has caused a great deal of debate and mixed reviews. Lawrence Taylor's performance was admittedly impressive for a non-wrestler, while Bigelow did his best to carry the NFL athlete through the match to an acceptable degree. However, the fact remains that the main event of WrestleMania 11 featured a perennial midcarder and a celebrity. Such bouts usually fit handily into the midcard of modern-day 'Manias, but the fact that one actually headlined the show is nothing short of unacceptable. Luckily it seems as though Vince has since learned his lesson, keeping celebrities far from the main event itself (at least in a wrestling capacity) ever since.
