3. Bastion Booger

Mike Shaw was one performer who certainly didn't mind making a fool of himself. Previously using gimmicks such as 'Norman The Lunatic' (which is exactly as it sounds) and 'Trucker Norm' in WCW, the man must have been delighted when the opportunity came up to ply his trade in the WWF in 1993. What would have pleased him less was the characters the federation had lined up for him.

Briefly portraying the persona of 'Friar Ferguson' for a few months, Shaw hammed it up as a mad monk. When that experiment predictably failed, the grappler was handed the task of outright disgusting the audience, playing the part of 'Bastion Booger', a grotesquely fat guy who squeezed into outrageously tiny outfits.

As Norman The Lunatic, Shaw had shown he was a decent worker when given the chance, but opportunities to prove his worth didn't really come along in the WWF. Eating everything and anything he could get his hands on, Booger's outfit was even specifically designed so that the skin on his back and neck formed a hump.
