10 Worst Wrestling Names Ever

4. Blue Pants

If ever there was a scenario whereby a wrestler should have been allowed to use their real name over their WWE-chosen one, this was it. Leva Bates was trained by The Dudley Boys, making her pro debut in 2006 and quickly moving on to make a name for herself in the Shimmer promotion. Signing a development deal in late-2014, Bates was introduced on NXT as pretty much an enhancement talent.

There's nothing wrong with that, everybody has to start somewhere, but Bates was given one of the most literal and dull monikers in WWE history. Referred to as 'Blue Pants', only because she wore blue trousers to the ring, Bates hasn't really been given a chance to succeed by WWE creative.

In many ways, this is like calling Rey Mysterio 'Masked Man', or Dean Ambrose 'White Tank Top'. In short, it's silly, and shows a woeful lack of creativity. If a company are putting this little thought into someone's television debut, jobber or not, why even bother? How can fans be expected to care when a wrestler is named after an item of their clothing?
