5. The WWE 24/7 Championship Picture

It's low key hilarious that WWE's market value dropped by a billion dollars, and its management structure was thrown into complete disarray, because outbound Co-President George Barrios didn't think it was a great idea to reinvest company profits by spending millions and millions of dollars on talent contracts despite having little to no use for said talent.

Enter Riddick Moss, the harbinger of WWE's doom, who worked himself into such a deal by gesturing that he was unhappy at being left to rot in the Performance Center. Come contract renewal time, he snagged himself a RAW call-up, the attendant improved terms, and the 24/7 Championship after first being positioned as Mojo Rawley's quarterback or offensive linesman or some sh*t.

He's not that anymore; in a Vince Russo WCW special, he turned on his pal within weeks in a way that made even less sense than that: he captured the any time, anywhere title and then defended it as scheduled (!) this week on RAW.

The development was nonsensical, Rawley isn't remotely over, Moss is somehow far less over than that, and the Brock Lesnar/R-Truth gold of a few weeks back now feels like it happened in 2016.
