10 Worst WWE Champions Ever

5. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam earned his WWE Title shot after winning the Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania 22 in 2006. Instead of doing the heel thing where he attacks an unsuspecting champion, he did the noble thing by challenge John Cena at the June 11 One Night Stand event. The "If Cena Wins We Riot" signs were very memorable as RVD was able to beat WWE's biggest name for the richest prize in the game. It wasn't clean thanks to Edge's surprise attack that caused Cena to lose, but it was very memorable. RVD's reign only lasted 22 days. That's because he was pulled over for speeding and caught with marijuana (not shocking for RVD!). His passenger Sabu was also arrested for drug paraphernalia. RVD ended up dropping the WWE Title to Edge in a triple threat match that also included John Cena. It's unlikely that RVD's ever going to reach the WWE Title level again. One has to wonder if he regrets what happened or if his stoner lifestyle makes him think "dude it's all good" if you ask him about it.
