When Hulk Hogan got a thunderous reaction in his match against The Rock at WrestleMania X-8, you just know Vince McMahon's eyes lit up with dollar signs. 

The Chairman wasted no time in capitalising on this unexpected popularity. On the very next pay-per-view, Backlash, he booked Hogan to defeat Triple H for the Undisputed WWE Championship, ending a nine-year drought at the top of the promotion. 

The Hulkster was still incredibly over when he won the belt, so it would be unfair to say he didn't deserve it. In the ring, however, he was shocking. The middle-aged titan moved like he had bamboo shoved down his trousers. The Triple H match was bad enough, but things would get even worse when he defended the title against The Undertaker at Judgment Day. 

This bout - which made Hogan's matches with André the Giant look like Ospreay vs. Ricochet - features an infamously bad chokeslam that looks more like Taker is laying The Hulkster down in bed rather than trying to hurt him. The reign was at least short.
