10 Worst WWE Draft Picks Ever
4. Big Daddy V
2008 - ECW to SmackDown
WWE tried so hard to make Big Daddy V happen; almost as hard as they tried to make Mabel happen. Poor Nelson Frazier, Jr. never stood a chance with the gimmicks they gave him.
His last fresh start was in 2008, when he was drafted to SmackDown from ECW. The two brands had brought in a talent exchange which meant Big Daddy V had spent plenty of time on the blue brand before making the move official; he even challenged for a World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XXIV. if you're the General Manager of SmackDown, why would you bother drafting anybody from ECW? If they can turn up anyway, you're just wasting a pick...
Anyway, this is another one of those fated choices where they clearly didn't know what to do with a certain wrestler. Two months after being drafted to SmackDown, Big Daddy V was gone from the company without a single appearance on his new blue home. What was the point in all of this?
With more than 20 years spent in WWE, you can't say they didn't want things to work for Nelson Frazier, Jr.; he just never clicked with the fans. The former Viscera found a new lease of life in All Japan Pro Wrestling before passing away in 2014.
