WWE was never known for being too clever with the names of their superstars, but even some of their worst offences were mere plays on words. However, no one got the memo when concocting the idea for a male stripper named Big Dick Johnson.

Some might have blamed WWE creative at the time for a lack of ingenuity and for giving the WWE Universe nightmares from which they feared they’d never awaken. In this instance, though, the writers weren’t completely to blame, at least not creative member Chris DeJoseph, who played the role - McMahon himself added that 'BIG!' descriptor. Of course he did.

He claimed the team brainstormed over who would run into Mr. McMahon during an on-air paternity suit, which ultimately boiled down to an overweight stripper. The character then stuck around and seemingly served no other purpose than to make McMahon chuckle over an obvious euphemism and the fact that a chubby man danced around in a thong.
