10 Worst WWE Intercontinental Champions Of All Time

2. Ezekiel Jackson

On the subject of those who could be deemed a flash in the pan, the monstrous Ezekiel Jackson was clearly one star WWE officials had a love affair with for several years despite his shortcomings inside the ring and on the microphone.

Jackson must be considered one of the worst all-round performers to ever hold the Intercontinental Title, because he plainly wasn't polished enough to hold a championship the likes of which Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels and other world-class wrestlers had strapped around their waists.

Beating Wade Barrett at Capitol Punishment in June, 2011, the beast-like Jackson in turn lost to Cody Rhodes that August, thus ending his brief association with singles gold in WWE. That was a good thing too; there's no way 'Big Zeke' should have been anywhere near the belts.

Holding the low-rent WWE version of the ECW Title in 2010 did not prepare Jackson to thrive as Intercontinental Champion. The belt may not have been as prestigious as it once was, but it was too big for Ezekiel Jackson to carry around with any credibility.
