10 Worst WWE Intercontinental Champions Of All Time

10. The Big Show

As one of WWE's veteran performers, the idea of Big Show becoming Intercontinental Champion should really have meant way more than it did. Unfortunately for the giant, his title reign is a shining example of hot-shot changes that do nothing for wrestler nor championship in the long run.

Winning the title from Cody Rhodes in 2012 at WrestleMania XVIII, Show's 28-day stint as champion was utterly pointless. Worse yet, he ended up dropping the belt back to Rhodes at Extreme Rules, and that makes it baffling why WWE's creative team even made the switch at all.

Worse, the heel Rhodes was on a roll as champ, had held the title since August, 2011, and many of his promos spoke of reforging the Intercontinental Championship as something WWE could be proud of. The promotion sure shot themselves in the foot there.

Big Show should never have been near the thing if he wasn't going to further Cody's promise to make Intercontinental gold mean something again.
