10 Worst WWE Matches Of 2017
1. Bray Wyatt Vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania 33)
Worse than the House Of Horrors because WWE dared to consider this worthy of being the 'Show Of Show's WWE Title match, Randy Orton may as well have put a bullet in Bray Wyatt's head when he dropped him with the single, match-winning RKO just before the ten minute mark. Or at least a punt for old times' sake.
'The Eater Of Worlds' had seemingly been on a hunger strike until an unlikely alliance with Randy Orton in late-2016 had the even more unlikely side effect of making them both interesting characters. The payoff always appeared to be that Randy would be a ruddy bloody 'Apex Predator' yet again, but as trust grew between the duo alongside rising fan support, the earnest friendship saw both achieve major success. Sacrificing themselves for one another, they were the big winners at Survivor Series and Royal Rumble in preparation for Wyatt's maiden title victory at February's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Rumble winner Randy even sacrificed his WrestleMania title shot. But then the plot thickened. With sh*t.
Literally so, in fact. Talking absolute manure as he revealed his masterplan and set fire to Bray's compound, Randy and Bray's rivalry was exposed a the steaming pile it really way when giant insects projected themselves on the WrestleMania canvas just to get close to it.
Needless to say Randy had the last laugh, but he's still some way from bouncing back.
