How.

How did this get worse?

More questions: do you know how obscenely rich WWE is? Do you know how much Vince McMahon wishes to be seen as a legitimate propagator of entertainment?

Then why didn't he spring for some CGI alligators, instead of just conveying the threat of alligators via a series of spliced-in Getty images? This was more of a so-bad-it's-good no-budget movie than a cinematic professional wrestling match, which is actually incorrect, since it wasn't even that good.

At the titular swamp, the wrestling consisted only of Bray Wyatt grabbing Braun Strowman's face a little bit and Wyatt and Strowman strangling one another in the water. Otherwise, they literally just had a chat.

It was revealed by the appearance of a shrouded Alexa Bliss that Sister Abigail is the manifestation of one's innermost desires, which is funny, since Bray Wyatt once dressed up as himself when playing the role.

"Would you f*ck me? I'd f*ck me, man [scattered laughter]."

"You'll never see that pathetic slob loser ever again," promised the new Bray Wyatt in the very first Firefly Fun House. The Fiend carried the head of the old slob loser who he had killed in order to return to dominance.

And then he came back.

Great, long-term storytelling.
