10 Worst WWE Moments Of 2003

New year, new me. That's a go to phrase for millions when the calendars turn, but most of those resolutions don't include the addendum: "Marry Dawn Marie then die of a kayfabe heart attack as part of your daughter's latest WWE feud". Al Wilson lived quite the rollercoaster in late-2002 into early-2003, and he handed the latter year one of its worst moments before everyone's champagne hangovers had worn off.

Ol' Al got hitched to Dawn in his underpants, then struggled to keep up with the Diva's sexual demands. No, really. That was the story. Michael Cole and Tazz giggled on commentary as they spoke about Wilson having a hard time (wink wink, nudge nudge) living up to what Dawn expected in bed. Cheerfully, WWE didn't put some viagra on a pole like WCW had during a bonkers 2000.

Small mercies, people. Small mercies indeed.

There was grieving backstage on SmackDown as everyone prepared to enter the Royal Rumble. A pensioner had snuffed it due to his Diva bride's sexual needs. In short, WWE claimed that Al had passed on because he was oversexed. Naturally, everybody reading this will tut and say: 'Oh, him as well eh? Tis a burden!'.

Seriously though, what a garbage storyline, and it somehow got worse. Marie was only doing all of this because she had the hots for Torrie and wanted to get closer to her. There are easier ways to go about that than by marrying her dad in storyline and then bonking him to death, to be fair, but what would this guy know about the subtleties of romance?
