10 Worst WWE PPV Matches Of 2019 (So Far)

Nobody can claim Triple H and Batista didn't work hard. They bloody did, you know, and they tried to turn their WrestleMania 35 match into an epic for the ages that had Attitude era-levels of violence, drama and stunts. There was one major issue holding this one back: it went way too long.

In their primes, Trips and big Dave could've gone 25 minutes in their sleep. They tried to do that at 'Mania, and their 'No Holds Barred' brawl was worse for it. It was two and a half times longer than Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre before it and ended up being the lengthiest match on the entire card. That held it back big time.

Had they shaved off a good 10 minutes or so, perhaps people would remember it for the right reasons.

The match meant the world to Batista, and probably to Triple H too. That's nice they cared so much, but it was foolish to try and turn the clock back to 2005 for the sake of any "epicness". The 25-minute length caused too much padding between big table, chain and plier spots that should've been the focus.
