10 Worst WWE PPV Matches Of 2020 (So Far)
6. Bobby Lashley vs. R-Truth (Money In The Bank)
It's generally easy to spot when someone is heading for a rapid push in WWE. At Money In The Bank, heel flavour of the month Bobby Lashley replaced his new manager MVP to paste the fun-loving R-Truth in less than two minutes bell-to-bell (there were other shenanigans that lengthened the segment).
Why did this need to happen on pay-per-view?
Watching Lashley blast through Truth on Raw would've been acceptable, but this had no business being on a larger show like MITB. The fact it also directly preceded the show's other stinker, which was Bayley vs. Tamina, means fans had to sit through a good 20 mins of pay-per-view time that were totally wasted.
Truth didn't need to look mega-competitive with Bobby, that's true. However, this was pay-per-view, not Main Event, and WWE seemed to forget that. This and didn't feel nearly special enough to warrant a place on the card.
