10 Worst WWE PPV Matches Of 2020 (So Far)
5. IC Title Handicap Match (Elimination Chamber)
WWE can't resist booking Braun Strowman in matches that accentuate his monster truck-like size compared to everyone else. At Elimination Chamber, they decided to give him an out for losing the Intercontinental Title to Sami Zayn by teaming the outspoken heel up with buddies Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.
It was middle of the road stuff.
One could even argue that the whole exercise proved pointless; Sami, who seemed set to tear it up as an obnoxious and manipulative champ, isn't even on telly today. That's hardly WWE's fault, but still - it is pretty annoying. The IC Title has moved on from goofy sideshows like this Chamber three-on-one.
Ask yourself a question. Would you rather see Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles express themselves in a super-stiff match for 40 good minutes, or would you rather see Braun rally against the odds? It's a no-brainer. This only gets a pass with some because of Sami.
