10 Worst WWE Royal Rumble Number 30 Entrants Ever

8. Crush - 1995

In truth, Crush didn't do a terrible job after entering the 1995 Royal Rumble as the final participant. The Original Hawaiian Punch (yes, an actual nickname) managed to eliminate both members of The Smoking Gunns, along with Fatu, Lex Luger, and Adam Bomb, on his way to making the final three of the entire match. He was soon eliminated by The British Bulldog, but his eight minutes weren't so bad.

Still, Crush makes this list on account of being Crush. The man from Hawaii was perennially pushed through the 1990s, but a mixture of legal issues and simply not being very good led to him failing to get over. The most memorable moment of his career came at WrestleMania IX, where he managed to lose to Doink the Clown in an abject match that nonetheless was one of the better parts of that wretched show.

Crush would lead the World Wrestling Federation immediately after the '95 Rumble, returning again a year or so later to join the Nation of Domination. The mid-90s weren't a great time for the WWE roster, and as such this is reflected in the last entrants into the Rumble between '91 and '96, but more on that shortly.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
