You may be forgiven for thinking that Chyna's 35-second debacle from number 30 in 1999 would be the worst ever by the final entry, but you would be wrong. Three years later Booker T pulled the best number out of the hat, causing Jim Ross to call him the 'luckiest man in the building'. He even got some pyro, usually a sign of someone with some weight behind them.

Booker entered the ring and surveyed the damage, before doing the wise thing and chucking Rob Van Dam clean over the top rope. With no one to attack, the future King decided to celebrate somewhat prematurely, performing a Royal Spinaroonie in the middle of the ring. This clearly was a terrible idea, and the Book Man turned around into a Stone Cold Stunner, a Stunner so big that it sent the five-time WCW World Champion flying over the top rope.

Booker T lasted just 33 seconds from entering to leaving the ring, the shortest performance by a number 30 entrant in history. Still, he managed to eliminate RVD and do a Spinaroonie in that time, so it wasn't all bad.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
