10 Worst WWE Summerslam Matches Ever

9. Summerslam 1992 - Nailz vs. Virgil

Nailz (known in the real world as Kevin Wacholz) is someone who had a brief career on the big stage but certainly created a good bit of controversy while there. Wacholz was brought in as an enemy for the Big Bossman, the former prison guard from Cobb County, Georgia. Wacholz was christened "Nailz", a former convict from Cobb County who claimed that the Bossman had treated him too harshly during his imprisonment and now he was out for revenge. Of course, Nailz cut a bunch of promos from prison about how he wanted to kill the Big Bossman, so maybe America's prison system needs a bit of reform. Anyways, Nailz ran through a bunch of jobbers before being booked to take on Virgil at Summerslam 1992 in England. Virgil had broken away from the Million Dollar Man and was now being used as cannon fodder for fugure main event stars. Nailz squashed Virgil in slow motion for the better part of three minutes before finishing him with the worst finishing move of all-time, a choking sleeper hold. In any other match, this move was a hold that wrestlers grab to rest before going into another sequence. For a lump like Nailz, it was his finish. The crowd could actually be seen on television not giving a crap about Nailz. As for the rest of Nailz's career, he attacked Vince McMahon in his corporate offices due to a pay dispute before exchanging lawsuits with the WWF chairman. He bounced around various other promotions as The Convict and The Prisoner before retiring in 2000. Virgil? Well, Virgil has become almost an internet legend. Hopefully, you've managed to catch a few stories about the former bodyguard.
