10 Worst WWE Survivor Series Moments Ever

7. Jerry Lawler's Team Vs. Doink The Clown's Team (1994)

WWE

The 1994 Survivor Series was not a critically successful event. In the featured bout, The Undertaker defeated Yokozuna in a Casket Match. Elsewhere, there were a number of traditional Survivor Series matches, and a long, drawn-out battle between Bret Hart and Bob Backlund over the WWF Heavyweight Title. Unquestionably, the low point of the show came when Jerry 'The King' Lawler faced Doink The Clown in Survivor Series elimination action.

In true mid-90s cartoon WWF fashion, both Lawler and Doink were accompanied by 'little people'. Jerry's team consisted of 'Sleazy', 'Cheesy', and 'Queasy'. On the opposite side of the ring, Doink had 'Dink', 'Pink', and 'Wink'. Predictably, the match was terrible and it went far too long. Going over 15 minutes in length, the comedy bout greatly frustrated fans. Doink The Clown was struggling badly as a babyface, and this match didn't help matters in the slightest. After just a few minutes of jokes aimed at the short grapplers, the effect started to wear off. A one-on-one match between Lawler and Doink would have been preferable.
