10 Worst WWE Title Reigns Ever

9. Diesel's First WWF Title Reign

- Won Title on November 26th, 1994 - Dropped Title on November 19th, 1995 - Four successful defenses It might seem a little strange to include someone who held the company's top title for 358 days on a list of the worst reigns, but it really was a bad one when you look at everything a little deeper. In that near-year span, he only had those four successful defenses of the WWF Title. Otherwise, he had a No Contest at the 1995 Royal Rumble against Bret Hart, a disqualification victory against Sycho Sid at In Your House four months later, and a disqualification loss to The British Bulldog at In Your House 4 the month before he lost the title. It isn't a successful title defense unless you win the match by pinfall or submission (or whatever the match stipulation calls for, such as Last Man Standing or "I Quit" matches). Winning by disqualification, etc, doesn't count, nor should it. On top of that, the WWF wasn't exactly in a great place with Diesel at the top. Money wasn't tremendous, and the product was lacking. Diesel VS Mabel main eventing SummerSlam? Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow VS Sycho Sid and Tatanka at King Of The Ring? Not pretty. That isn't his fault, of course, but as the WWF Champion of that time, everything is placed on his shoulders, right or wrong. Speaking of Diesel, though...
