Speaking of female stars who are bringing others around her down, Alexa Bliss polarises the fanbase.

As a calculating villain, Bliss had often been comparable to comic book character Harley Quinn, but when she officially became the Harley to The Fiend’s Joker in 2020, much of the audience progressively tired of her act. The gothic power couple between Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss had many wild moments, largely throughout their feud with Randy Orton, but it wasn't handled with nuance.

WWE overindulged in the supernatural nonsense and as the crazy notch continued to turn up, the fan interest stalled at the same time.

To her credit, Bliss is throwing everything into her gimmick transformation and definitely knows how to get as much as possible out of a script. However, her WWE run could quickly come to a crossroads if the character gets any wackier. Since splitting from Wyatt, Bliss and her doll-pal Lucy have added to the career assassination of Shayna Baszler, with their recent feud almost assured to rank near the top of 2021’s worst. Add to that her current program with Eva Marie and Doudrop showing little promise in its initial stages, and there are worrying signs surrounding Alexa Bliss and her character’s future trajectory.

Here’s hoping WWE has something cool up their sleeve, because Bliss is drifting towards stale status fast.
