It's the third match in a row with Triple H in it! There go my chances of being signed to the Performance Center.

WrestleMania 2000 is a strange show for many reasons. It featured just one singles match - a two-and-a-half minute "catfight" between Terri Runnels and The Kat - and was the only WWF show in 2000 not to receive critical acclaim.

Part of that was due to its main event.

The final bout on the card was a Four Corners Elimination match pitting The Rock, The Big Show, and Mick Foley against WWF Champion, Triple H.

The match had the caveat of "A McMahon In Every Corner" with Vince siding with The Rock, Shane backing up Show, Linda in Foley's corner, and Stephanie flanking her husband.

The match was fine, if a little long, but it ended with a pretty damp finish. It came down to The Game and The Rock - the match everybody wanted to see in the first place - and The Game was able to pick up the win after Vince turned on his charge, hitting him with a steel chair.

Although having a heel win was refreshing, it was still a really deflating ending to the biggest show of the year.
