5. Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 31)
The Lesnar-Reigns deal was less a storyline and more an exercise in rebuilding the Roman sandcastle week by week. With fans booing Reigns out of virtually every arena he entered, a campaign was undertaken to convince the viewers that no, Reigns is really the man you should all be loving. See, Daniel Bryan (the fans' real choice) told us all that Reigns had impressed him with his heart and determination. Paul Heyman concurred immediately after Bryan's endorsement, saying that Reigns could beat any champion in any era, sans Lesnar. Due to Lesnar's limited appearances, Reigns spent that WrestleMania season demolishing heels related to The Authority, which didn't do much for the match. At least 'nothing' was better than the silly tug-of-war with the championship belt that Reigns and Lesnar ended the go-home Raw with, making both look like toddlers skirmishing over a toy.
