He may have lost at SummerSlam, but Shinsuke Nakamura's WWE Championship pursuit probably isn't over. Recent title programs have seen the champion fight the same challenger across multiple pay-per-views. It happened with Bray Wyatt, and continued with Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal. We'll likely see a SummerSlam rematch before long, and when it happens, there's a great chance Nakamura will triumph.
'The King Of Strong Style' hasn't shown his best work on the main roster, but he's still one of WWE's most popular stars. Yes, the Mahal match was a stinker, but we all know what this man is capable of when put in the right position, and he deserves a top tier opponent for WrestleMania 34.

There's no better place to pull it off than 'Mania, and the time period makes sense too, as it would allow 'The Phenomenal One' to conclude his business in the United States Title scene before moving back up the card.
