10 WrestleMania 34 Card Predictions After SummerSlam 2017
1. Universal Title: Brock Lesnar (c) Vs. Roman Reigns
An obvious choice, but one that's almost certainly going to happen. Is Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns the match most of us want? Probably not, but since when have WWE bowed to public consensus with Reigns?
We've known about WWE's plans to book Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns as WrestleMania 34's main event for months now. 'The Beast' pinned 'The Guy' at SummerSlam, and in all likelihood, the next few months will see Reigns build momentum by beating each of Raw's biggest stars, before setting his sights back on the brand's greatest prize.
Lesnar vs. Strowman felt like the hottest match to make coming out of SummerSlam, but WWE have already booked it for No Mercy. It's a shame, because fans would've lapped this up as a potential 'Mania headliner. Instead, we'll probably get another awkward coronation for Reigns.
The audience would likely reject Roman's victory, but let's not forget the quality of their previous singles match. Reigns and Lesnar's WrestleMania 31 main event was en route to becoming a legitimate classic prior to Seth Rollin's MITB cash-in, and given the improvements Roman has made since then, this one should be even better. Still, the outcome could be tough to swallow.
