5. WrestleMania X8 - Triple H vs. Chris Jericho Upstaged By The Rock Vs. Hulk Hogan
Fans everywhere can agree that the wrong match ended the show for WrestleMania X8. WWE wanted to go with the tradition of having the WWF Championship match end the show, but the reason fans tuned in that night was for the Icon vs. Icon match with The Rock vs. Hollywood Hogan. Whatever expectations there were for a limited Hulk Hogan and a part-time Rock, they were absolutely blown out of the water, aided by a nostalgic Toronto crowd who truly appreciated what they were seeing. Hunter and Jericho never stood a chance. The match tried to tell a story of Tripss quad hanging by a thread, plus there was Stephanie McMahon in Jerichos corner, but the crowd didnt care about any of that. They were completely blown up after the emotional rollercoaster ride that Rock and Hogan took them on. Triple H was now 0-2 in having his WrestleMania main event be the highlight of the night.
