4. WrestleMania 21 - Triple H Vs. Batista Upstaged By Kurt Angle Vs. Shawn Michaels
After finally hitting it big with the Triple Threat match the year prior, Triple H once again had his main event overshadowed by a dream match between the two best wrestlers in the company at that time, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle. To be fair to Hunter, the build for him vs. Batista was top notch, and the match itself wasnt half bad. But the outcome was never really in doubt. Trips was always going to pass the torch to Batista. The Shawn Michaels/Kurt Angle match was a true pick-em. A good case could have been made for either man to win that match, and because of that, the drama was palpable. Each near-fall toward the end of the match could have been the finish. Both men received a standing ovation when it was over. Batista was coronated at WrestleMania 21, but he was also upstaged.
