A dozen years after Roddy Piper supposedly taped his hands into fists to avoid letting his bad blood spill out all over Mr. T's face, The Undertaker placidly sat in locker room of Boston's TD Gardens wrapping his own hams, with the opposite intent of violence.

The whole charade was choreographed as an implicit threat to WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, watching on from across the bench. Despite being beset by injury, and surely knowing along with the rest of the world that Steve Austin's time had arrived, HBK supposedly had reservations about dropping the strap on the day of the show. To help alleviate some of his, erm, concerns, 'Taker made it patently clear that if he got any funny ideas, he'd have a long (read: painful) night.

Seemingly seeing The Phenom's point of view, Shawn duly did his duties. According to the man himself, he never intended to stiff Stone Cold; he simply wanted to keep everybody on their toes. As for his own feet, they were far from cold.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
