10 WrestleMania Results That Made Absolutely No Sense

4. League Of Nations Defeat The New Day (WrestleMania 32)

The League Of Nations was a dead-end stable thrown together because WWE had nothing else for Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, and Rusev to do. They accomplished little during their time together, farting through all manner of listless feuds and matches before falling apart soon after WrestleMania 32, where they wrestled The New Day.

Their chronic lack of focus made the League's victory a hard, hard sell, but it happened. They triumphed in little over 10 minutes. A dull match, but a New Day victory (particularly after their awesome cereal box entrance) would've made it all worthwhile, yet WWE handed it to a stable they planned on doing precisely nothing with in the aftermath.

A brutal post-match segment saw Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, and Steve Austin walk down the ramp to routinely bury the trio, rendering the whole affair pointless. The League would kick the soon-to-depart Barrett out of the group the following night on Raw. Four weeks later, they weren't even a faction anymore, so why did WWE elect to give them the WrestleMania 34 rub? Answers on a postcard, please.
