10 Wrestler Allegiance Switches That Must Happen In 2022

5. Bayley - Face

Bayley as a trash-talking heel has revitalised her career within the last couple of years, as her childlike hugger gimmick had grown stale and infuriating, even for the young fans it was designed for. However, both Raw and Smackdown are missing credible babyface challengers towards Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. That void can be filled by a returning, babyface, Bayley. No, not the babyface Bayley that has wacky waving inflatable tube men in tow, but a Bayley that has good intentions in her heart.

Now that fans have embraced her again, it is time to strike while the iron is hot, after all, her eventual return will be received with a huge ovation from the fans, so it only makes sense that WWE allows the fans to cheer her, otherwise it just won't work.

Furthermore, Bayley is one of the best in the business at playing the underdog who is constantly chasing the prize. A majority of her best matches have come when the odds were stacked against her and she had to grind her way to success. She was also able to carry the likes of Nia Jax and Eva Marie to some good matches, you can't have that happen when she is just another cowardly heel. Give us what the people want, let us cheer the role model!
