10 Wrestler Introductions You Don't Remember

8. John Morrison - Eric Bischoff's Assistant

If there is one thing that John Hennigan is known for throughout the wrestling community, it is his constant changing of his ring name depending on the company he is working for. In the last 12 months alone, he was gone by his John Hennigan, John Morrison, Johnny Caballero, Johnny Superstar, Johnny WrestleCon, and most recently Johnny Elite.

Despite his many ring names, the man has largely kept the same gimmick of a wrestler with a parkour background and a knack for highflying. That was not his first gimmick under Vince McMahon's employment however, as after the second season of Tough Enough, Hennigan was brought in to be Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff's assistant. It was here where his constant name changes began, as in his first three weeks on WWE's flagship show, he was presented as Johnny Blaze, then Johnny Spade, and finally Johnny Nitro.

While obviously a play on Bischoff's previous show, this was the name that stuck for WWE's newest roster member. Johnny Nitro served in this capacity for only two months, as after losing his job in a match to Eugene, he would be sent back down to developmental. Despite leaving the main roster, when Johnny would return several months later, he would hold onto the Nitro name, now as a part of MNM.
