10 Wrestlers AEW MUST Sign Next

8. Lana

Crucially, though, she should be nowhere near Miro.

For the bulk of her eight-year WWE stint, Lana spent her time not being herself, but rather the boyfriend/husband of *insert wrestler's name*. Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, and Bobby Lashley were all associates to 'The Ravishing Russian' at one stage, all three of which took the spotlight from Lana as she stood in their shadows. The only time this ever worked was when she was Rusev's 'social ambassador' in NXT, and even that was only to a certain extent.

There's obviously work to be done to improve her in-ring work, but there's something there with Lana in AEW. Similar to Tay Conti, the former Mrs. Lashley could easily come into All Elite Wrestling, prove herself a consistent worker, and find herself challenging for the Women's World Championship within a year. The Tony Khan-helmed promotion has made a habit out of turning wrestlers' careers around; Conti was merely one example.

That's why she must be kept away from the reigning TNT Champion, though.

Miro is currently producing some decent stuff as 'God's Favourite Champion'. He doesn't need anyone as an accomplice, and neither does Lana. AEW should let her flourish as a singles talent before pairing her with anyone, whether as a valet or as a tag team partner.
