10 Wrestlers AEW MUST Sign Next

3. Mike Bailey

Adam Cole Is All Elite
WCPW

Compared to others on this list, Mike Bailey's name is no longer on the tip of tongues, partly due to his five-year ban from the United States coming just as he was becoming more well-known. His 2015/16 work for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is heralded as some of his career-best. See matches vs. Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and Malakai Black to justify this.

He was a favourite for what became Ethan Page's spot in the Face Of The Revolution ladder match in March, given that his ban expired that month. Instead, 'Speedball' wasn't in sight. He's not actually wrestled outwith his Canadian home since the ban was up, having just six matches to his name in 2021.

But he'll be All Elite at some point.

He has to be. Bailey isn't just a nimble flyer, you see; he's also a master of the chest kick, putting Daniel Bryan to shame as a result. Complete with a background in taekwondo, Mike often combines his two beloved wrestling styles, resulting in mind-numbing displays in which he standing Moonsaults into a stereo knee drop, crushing his opponent's ribcage in such a gorgeous visual.

Of AEW's current roster, Bailey could reasonably be paired with anyone and make it work. Presuming his VISA issues are sorted, TK's chequebook must have Mike Bailey's name dotted across it.
