10 Wrestlers AEW Plucked From Complete Obscurity

7. The Acclaimed

An inspired pairing that look for every bit as though they were packaged long before AEW even existed, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster only became The Acclaimed upon becoming All Elite.

Capturing the opening act microphone magic of the New Age Outlaws and Enzo & Big Cass but with in-ring skillsets that potentially offer much, much more ("potentially" is almost a needless qualifier in Bowens' case at this point), the duo are a fan's delight and a booker's dream.

Approximately once a week this is proven too, with the pair typically always tied up ins something despite AEW's propensity to drop stories or characters from absolutely nowhere, and Caster's extremely poor choice of subject matter to rap about in 2021.

A tag team that looks like they've been one forever rather that because their resourceful employer made it so, The Acclaimed will one day either claim singles or doubles gold and send live audiences ballistic as a result. A multi-pronged success story as it continues to be seen through, this reality is a victory for the company's talent recruitment and development, as well as the creative expression both behind and in front of the cameras,
