10 Wrestlers AEW Plucked From Complete Obscurity

6. Private Party

An exciting reflection of everything AEW could theoretically be when it launched in 2019, Private Party were promoted as two of The Young Bucks' toughest last independent opponents. More than that in fact - they were primed and ready to take Matt and Nick Jackson's places.

The reality has been slightly different in truth, but that's not been for the want of everybody's best efforts, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen included.

The team have grown alongside the company itself, which is a testament to both sides' commitments to the project, even if AEW has at times surpassed the big stage confidence of the daredevil duo.

An creeping feeling of underachievement alongside the total f*ckery of the early days of the pandemic resulted in a grouping with Matt Hardy that has been far too obsessed with its leader to get over its members, but - as is the case with just about everybody on this list - the company has ample, ample time to find the right spot. As do Quen and Kassidy to then work up to it.
