10 Wrestlers At Risk Of Missing Out On The WrestleMania 38 Card

5. Cesaro

Cesaro has a dedicated following who will never stop pushing for him to get a more prominent role. Last year it seemed like this was finally paying off with title fights against Roman Reigns and his first ever singles match at WrestleMania, picking up a victory over Seth Rollins.

Since then Cesaro has been sent right back where he started. He and Ricochet might have picked up some wins against Sheamus and Ridge Holland in recent weeks, but the focus seems to be on the latter pair’s struggles to co-exist rather than pushing Rico and The Swiss Superman as a unit.

Sadly, no matter how well he wrestles, Vince is unconvinced by Cesaro’s ability to Sports Entertain. He’s a utility player who can slot in anywhere and deliver the goods, but he’s just not perceived as a star internally. That UFO spot against Rollins was magical but it seems in the eyes of WWE top brass, one WrestleMania Moment was plenty for this superstar.
