10 Wrestlers Currently Out Injured (And When They Might Return)

8. Kris Statlander

Cody Rhodes
AEW

Poor Kris Statlander. She's been one of AEW's most consistently popular female stars since its inception, but she's also been repeatedly hampered by injury.

After missing the second half of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021 with an ACL injury, Statlander suffered the same injury to her other leg in a match on AEW Dark in August 2022.

The injury came at a terrible time for The Galaxy's Greatest Alien as she was really building up steam. She was also heavily involved in the conversation surrounding who should beat Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship.

Unfortunately, there is still a long way to go on her path to recovery. She completely blew out her right knee and the recovery time for this injury is anywhere between six to eight months. Taking into account when she hurt herself, this would put her return date anywhere between February and April of 2023.

A big return in time for Revolution or Double or Nothing would be ideal for the popular performer. Then again, Statlander is from another planet, so perhaps we'll see her boop her way back onto our screens much sooner than expected.
